When dabs.com expanded into providing broadband internet access, they launched dabs.net. A new logo and promotional ideas were required to take the product to market. We were selected based on the successful work undertaken for the parent brand dabs.com.
The logo was a carefully devised variation on the parent logo. This was essential as the initial target group would be existing dabs.com customers and instant recognition was paramount. Portfolio then created the ‘Dabs duck’ character that was to be a central part of the brand and all future promotions. An online game called ‘Quack on the draw’ was also developed by our Interactive Department where players could win free broadband for a year.
