Earlier this year, we pitched against some top London agencies to work on a design brief for multi-national beauty company Coty, founded in 1904 by François Coty and now owner of 77 brands including Max Factor and Wella.

We might only be a boutique agency ‘Up North’, but we WON it!

We were tasked with designing training packs for the Global Education and Training department, which we then needed to dispatch safely to over 60 destinations across the globe.

We created a bespoke showcase box, training manuals, PowerPoint presentations and promotional items which sat beautifully within the box. As a result of the success of this first piece of work, we are now working on another brief from the Global Training and Education Department and hope that this is the beginning of a fantastic, long standing working relationship.

Coty showcase box and promotional itemsThe feedback which we have received makes us over the moon:

“I’ve worked with Darren for almost ten years across three global retailers and I have had no hesitation engaging him as a preferred supplier. Darren leads his team with passion, commitment and creativity and has a incredible sense of detail. He treats clients as individuals, takes time to listen, question and understand each project and enjoys finding the most creative yet cost-effective solutions to design and print jobs. He oversees every project, ensuring it remains ‘on brief’ and on track and he is able to accommodate short and long lead jobs, which is great for us as we are often forced to work to very short deadlines.

“For me, Darren and Portfolio are a perfect example of thinking local – by providing a bespoke 1-2-1 service experience – and acting globally – by introducing new technologies, design concepts and shipping expertise.

“It’s a pleasure working with this team, and I have no hesitation recommending their services.”
